Aromas of holiday spice (pine needles, cinnamon, and nutmeg); beautifully integrated tannins with flavors of blueberry, spiced figs, cherry, dark chocolate, and roasted coffee. Excellent length.

Our favorite barrels from each of our estate vineyards, this is the wine we craft for special occasions.  This wine pairs beautifully with duck, lamb, or Thanksgiving dinner.

Try to wait until 2015; after that, this wine should hold top form through 2022.

Impresses with aromas of brown sugar, molasses, blackberry preserves, sweet figs, and licorice; soft tannins build slowly through a fruit-driven raspberry and cherry compote mid-palate into a elegant, long finish.

This wine is made from four barrels of Pommard clone; the backbone of many great Oregon pinots.  The balance of fruit and earthiness will pair well with salmon or dishes that feature an earthy component like mushrooms or truffles.

Best to wait until late 2014 to open; this wine should age well through 2020.

This Pinot Noir is comprised of that elusive balance of fruit, tannin and acidity which is what makes it such a great food wine.  It is a uniquely versatile wine, pairing easily with everything from pork to burgers.

Comprised of our sixteen favorite barrels from the two estate vineyards, this is our most complex and thought-provoking wine of the vintage with layers of fruit, spice, earthiness, and floral notes.  Beguiling nose of cherry liquor, violets, cayenne pepper, ripe black cherry, baking spices, and vanilla-tinged smoky oak evolves with time in the glass.  One’s palate is struck by the wine’s extraordinary richness yet smooth and approachable flavors of blackberry, toffee, plum, cherry-cola, coffee, and sweet anise.  Well-integrated, rich, and lush with balance and structure that should allow it to age well over the next ten years.

The 2011 Artist Series No. 16 Pinot Noir is comprised of select barrels of Dijon 777 clone from the lower slopes of our Coast Range estate vineyard.
