Comprised of our sixteen favorite barrels from the two estate vineyards, this is our most complex and thought-provoking wine of the vintage with layers of fruit, spice, earthiness, and floral notes.  Beguiling nose of cherry liquor, violets, cayenne pepper, ripe black cherry, baking spices, and vanilla-tinged smoky oak evolves with time in the glass.  One’s palate is struck by the wine’s extraordinary richness yet smooth and approachable flavors of blackberry, toffee, plum, cherry-cola, coffee, and sweet anise.  Well-integrated, rich, and lush with balance and structure that should allow it to age well over the next ten years.

Comprised entirely of Pommard clone, this wine is as vibrant and lively as the painting on its label.  A wine of sheer decadent deliciousness, notes of cherry-vanilla, white flowers, soapstone, cinnamon, ripe strawberry, and candied cherry all mix playfully in the nose.  Dense without being overwhelming, this offering is a balance of smoothness and power with a long, intense finish.

Produced entirely from gently pressed Pinot Noir grapes and aged sur lie for six months, this dry Rose showcases bright flavors, lush fruit and pleasing aromas of cherry blossom and strawberries.

Like the painting on its label, this is a wine of richness and warmth. Comprised of Coury clone from Ribbon Ridge and Dijon 115 from the Coast Range, the wine displays complex aromas of intense fruit and spice; plum, raspberry, candied cinnamon, sweet alderwood smoke, and violets. Beautifully textured, the wine gathers strength on the palate and expands to rich, smooth finish dusted with nutmeg and all spice.

Like the painting on its label, this is a wine is where cool aromas and flavors dominate.  Taken entirely from one of the coolest blocks in the Coast Range estate, the wine is entirely Dijon 777 clone.  An appealing nose of forest floor, tar, licorice exotically mixed with notes of vanilla and caramel.  Bright acidity make it a particularly good pairing with food.

Trisaetum’s 2010 Estates Reserve Riesling has been designated No. 21 in Wine Enthusiast’s Top 100 Cellar Selections of the Year. Club members received this wine in their fall shipment. We will release the remaining bottles at our Thanksgiving Open House.

Wine Enthusiast - 94 points – Cellar Selection – this does not give up its fruit as some dry Rieslings do; there’s a pleasing mix of lemon, grapefruit, pineapple and apricot, full in the mid-palate, then turning more astringent and cheerily tart in the finish.  This is a very young, compact, and still tight as a drum; it could be cellared for up to a decade.

A light-bodied dry wine with hints of Honeycrisp apple and Valencia orange; serve with fresh fruit, citrus-driven dishes, or other brightly flavored fare.

Wine Advocate - 94 points Raises the bar to an even higher level. It is a selection of the most complex and age-worthy barrels in the cellar according to James Frey. Although lighter in color than its siblings, it offers considerably more aromatic complexity with its aromas of pain grille, smoke, floral notes, Asian spices, incense, and amalgam of red and black fruits. Satin-textured, graceful, yet remarkably concentrated, its precision and balance should allow it to age for 6-8 years if not longer. It is one of the stars of a great vintage.

Four select barrels were chosen to create this unique expression of Pinot Noir; dark fruit, cigar box, and mushroom.

It has an excellent chance of seeing its 20th birthday in fine form.

Cool aromas of cassis, black cherry, and mint with a hint of pie crust and barrel spice.  Full-bodied with a nice mid-palate weight, this wine showcases high-toned red fruits and chocolate undertones.  A silky, round finish.  50 cases produced.  Drink 2009 – 2017.
