2013 Proprietary Red Blend
Walla Walla Fruit
Tasting Notes
Deep garnet in color, this blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from the famous Seven Hills and Loess vineyards of Walla Walla is wonderfully expressive with notes of espresso, black cherries and lively cocoa on the nose. Supple and generous on the palate with juicy blackberry, black pepper and licorice flavors that linger harmoniously on finely structured tannins.
Seven Hills Vineyard & Loess Vineyard
This year’s blend consists of 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot, and 8% Petit Verdot. The grapes are sourced from two of Walla Walla's finest vineyards - Loess Vineyard, which surrounds Leonetti Winery, and the famed Seven Hills Vineyard. Fruit is picked and transported via refrigerated truck to Trisaetum on the same day.
