2014 Wichmann Dundee Estate Pinot Noir
Medium/Light Ruby with a clear rim and good transparency. The nose is redolent yet restrained and reflects the classic red fruit personality of the Dundee Hills. Strawberries, tart cherries, black tea, savory herbs are all wrapped in a sappy, ripe 2014 fruit personality. On the palate it is ripe and expressive, yet elegant with good weight, texture, acidity and balanced tannins. The suave, refined nature of this vineyard matched well with an extended, warm, dry and ripe vintage.
