2023 Nuit Blanche White Pinot Noir

2023 Nuit Blanche White Pinot Noir

Tasting Notes

With a shimmering white golden hue, the 2023 Nuit Blanche white Pinot Noir exudes lively and energetic notes of fresh strawberries, honeydew, and Rainier cherries, layered with subtle notes of white flowers and sea salt.  This is a crisp, complex, deliciously food-friendly wine that broadens across the palate and lingers pleasantly on the long finish.

Nuit Blanche, "White Night," is a white wine utilizing red grapes. We delicately press whole clusters of our Pinot Noir to extract the delicious juice while minimizing skin contact and, therefore, any color. This gives us a refreshing and unique take on the Willamette Valley's favorite varietal.

Wine Profile
Production Notes
2023 Vintage Notes: A very cold and wet Spring delayed budbreak in 2023 until the beginning of May (one of the latest we've seen at Trisaetum); but a warm and very sunny May/June saw the vines quickly make up ground. Throughout the summer the weather was beautiful and ideal for fruit set, véraison and flavor development. Harvest commenced at Trisaetum on September 6th with our first sparkling pick. Pinot Noir was harvested from September 12th through September 22nd...a fast and furious 10-day period that filled the tank hall to the brim. With long hang times and plenty of dry days from which to harvest perfectly ripe fruit, winemakers are understandably quite enthusiastic about the 2023 vintage.
